Hyaluronic Acid - What it is and why do we need it?

Hyaluronic Acid is naturally created in the body, however it does decrease with age.  It is found in the dermis, it protects collagen and elastin and it absorbs water keeping the skin hydrated and plumped up.  Hyaluronic acid is difficult to get from diet but it can be found in animal cartilage so one way to get it is through organic bone broth.  However that isn't for everyone so eating root vegetables that are high in magnesium helps your body produce hyaluronic acid and citrus fruits are very hydrating, they are packed with many beauty nutrients and also prevent the loss of hyaluronic acid.  There are skincare products that contain it, fillers you can get and supplements to increase your hyaluronic acid levels.
